SOTD: Clap (One Day) by Pharoahe Monch

I’m going to warn you, this is a crazy music video.  Because it’s an extended version with a story line, and because it features Gbenga Akinnagbe from The Wire.

This is the second single from Pharoahe Monch’s third solo album, We Are Renegades.  It was released March 2011 on iTunes.

Song of the Day: I Heard You Say by The Vivian Girls.

This is the girls most recent, slightly creepy, music video and single for their third studio album, Share the Joy.  Don’t you love it how they’re wearing almost identical dresses and how they turn their heads toward each other like the twins from The Shining? The wallpaper is too similar to their dresses!  Ah!

Share the Joy debuts April 2011.

Thanks to Dave for the heads-up!

Song of the Day: Go Outside by The Cults.

I listened to this song everyday this summer.  It made me enjoy my first LA summer.
